On the Hvar Island you have the possibility to do different activities and discover new places. The activities that we suggest you are:

Boat ride: is an enjoyable occasion to discover the island and especially the hidden coves!

Diving snorkeling: for those who want discover the underwater world, there are several diving points: “Hvarsky Skoji” that means “rocks of Hvar” near Pakleni Otici, a group of islands in front of the city of Hvar.

Bike: it’s beautiful to ride a mountain bike, to turn and visit the island in total freedom, in contact with nature and surrounded by lush vegetation.

Kayak: for the family are organized several excursion tours.

  • How to get to Hvar

    By car, bus, plane or train, you have to reach Split in Central Dalmatia, where you can take ferry or catamaran or plane to Hvar.

    By car:from either north or south take the highway A1, or Adriatic highway to the port of Split where you will embark to Hvar.

    By sea: ferries Split-Hvar. The island of Hvar can be reached by Jadrolinja from Split (1 hour of navigation). Departures are frequent throughout the day.

    By ferry from Italy: SANAV, Blueline or Jadrolinja ferries to Split from the ports of Ancona and Bari, SNAV catamaran from the ports of Ancona and Pescara.

    By plane: The airport of Split is served by Alitalia and Croatia Airlines flights from Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino. From Ancona to Jelsa (Hvar) seaplane. From Split to Jelsa (Hvar) daily European Coastal Airlines flights.

    By bus: bus lines connect the airport to the port of Split every 20 minutes.
